The effect is what happens. The cause is why it happens. For example, Stanley ends up at camp green lake(effect) because of his 'no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather'(cause).
Activity- Cause will be in red while effect will be in green
Stanley calls armpit theodore. Armpit pushes Stanley over.

Stanley is teased at his old school, Because he was fat.
Stanley goes out into the desert, because Zero has run away from camp green lake.
Zero gets sick, because he ate the 'sploosh'.
Mr Sir get slapped by the warden, because she doesn't care about his sunflower seeds.
Stanley is cursed because Eliya Yelnats didn't carry Maddem Zeroni up the mountain.
